Touching Wild Horses: According to The Hollywood Reporter, First Look Media has acquired all U.S. rights to helmer Eleanore Lindo's family drama Touching Wild Horses starring Jane Seymour.

The film follows Mark (Mark Rendall), a young man sent to Sable Island -- a world-famous wild horse preserve -- to live with his reclusive Aunt Fiona (Jane Seymour) after a car accident leaves his father and sister dead and his mother in a coma.

The film, which screened at festivals from Toronto to Tribeca, is slated to open April 30 and will have a fall DVD/home video rollout. The "Horses" deal was brokered by First Look's Bill Bromiley and Chesler-Perlmutter Prods.' David M. Perlmutter. The film marks First Look's first theatrically released family film as the company moves into that sector of the market.
