Nickelodeon and Paramount+ have unveiled our first look at Timmy Turner in Fairly OddParents: Fairly Odder. Serving as a sequel series to the classic Fairly OddParents cartoon, the show jumps ahead in time with young Timmy now in high school. Caleb Pierce stars as the live-action Timmy, but as seen in the first look photo, the titular OddParents have remained animated. A trailer has also been released, which you can watch below.

The original Fairly OddParents series aired on Nickelodeon from 2001 to 2017. It follows 10-year-old Timmy Turner and his fairy godparents, Wanda and Cosmo. Making the switch to live-action, Fairly Odder begins with Timmy entrusting the fairies to his 13-year-old cousin Viv Turner (Audrey Grace Marshall).

Per Entertainment Weekly, the series follows Viv as she moves to the town of Dimmsdale when her dad, Ty (Ryan-James Hatanaka), decides to reunite with his high school sweetheart, Rachel Raskin (Laura Bell Bundy). Rachel's son, Roy (Tyler Wladis), sees Timmy bestowing his fairy godparents on Viv as she deals with the change in her life, and now the two kids agree to take turns making wishes.

Susanne Blakeslee and Daran Norris return as the voices of Wanda and Cosmo. Imogen Cohen also stars Viv and Roy's friend, Zina Zacarias, while Fairly OddParents' Jorgen Von Strangle, the fairy commander from Fairy World, also returns. Christopher J. Nowak (Danger Force) serves as series showrunner.

In 2011, there was a live-action movie, A Fairly Odd Movie: Grow Up, Timmy Turner!, which starred Drake Bell as Timmy Turner in his early 20s. His animated godparents were animated with 3-D CGI while they retain their classic art style in this new series on Paramount+.
