With Star Wars Rebels taking place between the end of Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith and the beginning of Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope, it makes sense that we'll be seeing a few of the characters that are shared between both the prequels and the original trilogy. One of those characters, confirmed earlier in the year, is Obi-Wan Kenobi. A new French teaser trailer for Star Wars Rebels gives us our first look at the bearded Jedi Master as he makes his return. It's a quick glimpse, but we get a good idea of how he's aged, and how he's changed since we last saw him in Star Wars: The Clone Wars. Take a peek, but be warned, the rest of the trailer is in the French language.

Star Wars Rebels is a forthcoming animated television series set five years before the original trilogy, during the time frame between the films Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith and the beginning of Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope. The premiere episode, a one-hour special, will air on Disney Channel in fall 2014, with the series then shifting to Disney XD. With Lucasfilm's reorganization of Star Wars continuity in April 2014, Star Wars Rebels will be the first on-screen entry in the new Star Wars canon.

The series will follow a motley group of rebels-the crew of the starship Ghost-and their struggles against the oppressive Galactic Empire. The Ghost's crew consists of the Twi'lek pilot Hera Syndulla, the alien enforcer Zeb Orrelios, the Mandalorian Sabine Wren, the astromech droid Chopper, the former Jedi Kanan Jarrus, and the teenage con artist Ezra Bridger. A primary theme of Star Wars Rebels will be exploring the origins of the Rebel Alliance.
