Even though production just started in Chicago on Divergent, the first photo has already arrived giving us a look at star Shailene Woodley as Beatrice "Tris" Prior. Neil Burger (not to be confused with hack comedian Neil Hamburger) is directing this adaptation of Veronica Roth's best-selling YA novel, which chronicles a dystopian future made up of five factions. Here, we see Tris taking the place of a fellow Dauntless initiate, as she stands still while knives are being thrown directly at her face.

Shailene Woodley had this to say about the currently shooting drama, and her cast mates.

"It's a good group. We're hanging out on weekends, celebrating birthdays. Everyone just wants to get to know one another. It's rare to get a big group together and not have any conflicts. It's really kind of amazing."

The actress summed up the movie quite succinctly, saying only this about the story.

"It's about being selfless and standing up for what's right."

What about those knifes being thrown at the poor young ingénue's face? We shouldn't worry.
