The Driftless Area has debuted a first look photo featuring stars Zooey Deschanel and Anton Yelchin, as Radiant Films International takes the drama to Cannes. The Driftless Area is adapted from Tom Drury's novel and tells the tale of an unconventional romance centered around death, love and fate. Quiet and resourceful bartender Pierre (Anton Yelchin) returns to his hometown after the death of his parents. He soon falls for the enigmatic Stella (Zooey Deschanel), and is unwittingly drawn into a circle of fate pitting him against a volatile criminal named Shane (John Hawkes).
