Following the second trailer and cast posters that surfaced last week, 20th Century Fox has released the first clip from The Maze Runner. Teen Wolf star Dylan O'Brien plays Thomas, who is mysteriously transported to a strange place known as The Glade, where he finds several other youngsters his age and a massive maze that prevents them from leaving.

This first clip shows Thomas' introduction to one of the other "Gladers," Alby (Aml Ameen), who breaks down the rules for survival, including never going beyond the maze. Check out the latest footage from director Wes Ball's adaptation of the popular James Dashner novel, in theaters September 19.

In The Maze Runner, Thomas is deposited in a community of boys after his memory is erased, soon learning they're all trapped in a maze that will require him to join forces with fellow "runners" for a shot at escape.
