The classic tale Peter Pan is coming back to life in a big way, on both the silver screen and small screen. Right now there are four Peter Pan movie scripts floating around town and a new Peter Pan mini-series in development at Syfy. Here's a breakdown of all five projects.

  • The.Never.Land - John Swetnam wrote this spec script which tells the tale of Wendy and the title character with more of a Twilight spin on the story.
  • - Untitled Peter Pan Pitch - Jeff Rake wrote this script, which is more of a family adventure.
  • - Pan - Channing Tatum is attached to star from a script by Billy Ray, which reimagines the original J.M. Barrie novel.
  • - Neverland - Aaron Henry and Kirk Kjeldsen wrote this spec script where Peter Pan is actually the villain, abducting children in London. Captain Hook is the hero who tries to stop him.
  • - Neverland - We reported earlier this month that Keira Knightley will provide the voice of Tinker Bell in this four-hour Syfy mini-series, which will air in December.

Aside from the mini-series, these movie projects don't seem to be set up at any studio yet, but that could change in the near future.
