The Flash closes out its first half of Season 1 tonight with the midseason finale "The Man in the Yellow Suit", airing at 8 PM ET on The CW. The network has released a new clip that introduces fans to the powerful Firestorm (Robbie Amell), and also includes Caitlin Snow (Danielle Panabaker) and Cisco Ramon (Carlos Valdes). As you can see in the footage below, Caitlin is still trying to help her fiancee Ronnie Raymond, even though he refuses to be called by that name anymore.

However, as you could tell from the episode's title and last week's trailer, the midseason finale primarily revolves around Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) and his showdown with "The Man in the Yellow Suit", a.k.a. Reverse Flash. While there have been several theories as to the identity of this mysterious villain, who is responsible for the death of Barry's mother, we still don't know who Reverse Flash is yet. It's certainly possible that this villain's true identity, and perhaps his motivations for killing Barry's mother, will be revealed during tonight's episode, but we'll have to tune in to find out for sure.

In addition, The CW has released a brief featurette for tonight's episode, where executive producer Andrew Kreisberg teases that "The Man in the Yellow Suit" features some of the biggest action sequences they've done so far. He adds that Barry gets to release all of his pain that he's felt throughout the years following his mother's death, and that this is the show's Christmas episode, which will offer some heartwarming moments. Take a look at the latest footage before "The Man in the Yellow Suit" airs tonight at 8 PM ET on The CW.
