Season 2 of The Flash continues tonight with Flash of Two Worlds, airing at 8 PM ET on The CW. This new episode will introduce fans to Jay Garrick (Teddy Sears) and the concept of the multiverse. While we wait for Flash of Two Worlds to air in just a few short hours, IGN has a new clip, where Dr. Martin Stein (Victor Garber) helps explain the multiverse to Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) and his team.

Jay Garrick (guest star Teddy Sears), a mysterious man from Earth-2, appears at S.T.A.R. Labs with a dire warning about an evil speedster named Zoom, who is set on destroying The Flash. Barry (Grant Gustin) and the team must decide if they can trust this stranger even as they face yet another powerful meta-human. Meanwhile, Joe (Jesse L. Martin) must deal with a determined officer named Patty Spivot (guest star Shantel VanSanten) who wants to join his meta-human task force.

Shortly after the The Flash Season 1 finale, where Barry Allen entered the singularity known as the Speed Force, it was confirmed that Season 2 would delve into the multiverse. In fact, the title of tonight's episode, Flash of Two Worlds, is also the title of the iconic comic book issue where Barry Allen meets Jay Garrick, the very first Flash in the comics, which introduced the concept of the multiverse. Jay Garrick comes to "Earth-1" from his home on "Earth-2" to warn Barry about the villainous Zoom.

In addition to this clip, we also have a "producer's preview," with executive producer Gabrielle G. Stanton. She reveals that fans will learn a lot more about Jay Garrick and his home Earth-2, along with the villainous Zoom (voiced by Tony Todd), who is this season's primary villain. She also teased that this episode will recreate the iconic Flash of Two Worlds comic book cover, a scene which was already teased in a poster that debuted back in August, and we also learn more about Patty Spivot.

Other new characters who will be popping up this season are Keiynan Lonsdale as Wally West, Michael Ironside playing Lewis Snart, Violett Beane as Jesse Quick, Demore Barnes as Henry Hewitt and Adam Copeland, a.k.a former WWE Superstar Edge as Atom Smasher. The show will also feature two characters from the midseason series DC's Legends of Tomorrow, Falk Hentschel's Hawkman and Casper Crump's Vandall Savage.
