Oliver Queen is getting a new Arrow costume in Season 4, which actor Stephen Amell debuted two weeks ago during his big Comic-Con panel in Hall H. Not to be outdone by the newly dubbed Green Arrow's fancy threads, Barry Allen is also getting an upgraded suit. The CW has released the first peek at the scarlet speedster's new The Flash Season 2 superhero uniform. And it will certainly seem familiar to fans who've been paying close attention.

Grant Gustin is seen in his dashing new get-up, which gives the signature lightening bolt emblem on his chest a new white background. This matches the suit seen on the iconic DC Comics superhero during his epic future throw down with Reverse-Flash, which actually happens in the past. Nothing else has been revealed about the introduction of the suit, or when it will debut in The Flash Season 2, or how this all ties into The Flash Season 1 finale, which sends Dr. Wells into an alternate timeline, as the series sets out to explore the Multiverse.

Along with the introduction of Earth-One, Earth-Two and other various plains of existence, original Flash Jay Garrick will make his debut entrance on the show this season. Teddy Sears has been cast as Jay Garrick, who is well known to comic book fans as the first DC Comics character to take on the mantle of The Flash. In the TV show, Jay is a mysterious figure who arrives in Central City to warn Barry Allen and his team at S.T.A.R. Labs of an impending danger that he alone cannot hope to stop.

Shantel VanSanten has been set for the role of Patty Spivot in The Flash Season 2. A more recent addition to The Flash's comic book history, Patty Spivot is a police officer and science enthusiast who catches the eye of Barry Allen. Patty is obsessed with metahumans and partners with Det. Joe West this season but has no idea that her new crush is The Flash. Former WWE Superstar Adam Copeland, known in the ring as Edge, has signed on to play the comic book character Al Rothstein, a.k.a. Atom Smasher.

The CW's The Flash was part of Warner Bros. Television's DC Superhero Saturday Night panel in Comic-Con's Hall H two weekends ago. There, plenty of new story developments were teased. Possibly the biggest being the introduction of new lightening powers for Barry Allen. He will also get a new mentor who teaches him how to harnesses these exciting new superhuman abilities.

We also learned that Zoom, who is faster than both Flash and Reverse Flash, will be one of the main bad guy's this year, with his introduction coming early in the season. With Barry's new suit and powers, Zoom will surely be no match for the Central City superstar. Take a look at the new suit, and let us know your thoughts. The CW smash The Flash returns for Season 2 on Oct. 7 at 8/7c.
