When The CW first announced their Arrow and The Flash spinoff DC's Legends of Tomorrow, the first cast members revealed were Brandon Routh (Atom) and Caity Lotz (White Canary) from Arrow, and Victor Garber (Dr. Martin Stein/Firestorm) and Wentworth Miller (Captain Cold) from The Flash. As fans of The Flash know, Martin Stein is just one half of Firestorm, with the other half portrayed by Robbie Amell's Ronnie Raymond. While several other cast members have since been confirmed, The CW has not revealed if Robbie Amell will cross over to this spinoff. Today, Victor Garber confirmed that he will reunite with Robbie Amell in the Season 2 premiere of The Flash, but he wouldn't say if his co-star is coming to DC's Legends of Tomorrow.

"Robbie and I will be joined on the first episode of the [next] season of The Flash, and then we'll see what happens."

Since it requires both characters working as a unit to bring Firestorm to life, many fans have wondered how this dynamic will work, if only one of them is on DC's Legends of Tomorrow. Perhaps The Flash Season 2 premiere will feature a story that allows each of them to portray Firestorm independently, but that's only speculation at this point. It's also worth noting that, in The Flash season finale last month, Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) traveled through a wormhole, which some speculate may have created a whole new timeline.

The CW has already ordered 15 episodes of DC's Legends of Tomorrow, which debuts in midseason, but it won't be just a one-off limited series, with the actor teasing that The CW hopes for it to become an ongoing series, and discussing the dynamic of bringing both heroes and villains to work together.

"They (CW) aren't going to introduce a limited series. This isn't HBO. They want the Full Monty. That's going to be the fun of it. We're all these characters put together and we will see how we all function and try to do something together."

While both Arrow and The Flash will return this fall, fans will have to wait a bit longer for DC's Legends of Tomorrow, which is debuting sometime in midseason. Do you hope that both halves of Firestorm will be shown in DC's Legends of Tomorrow? Chime in with your thoughts below.
