Dominic Purcell is set to reunite with his Prison Break co-star Wentworth Miller in The CW's upcoming series The Flash. We reported in July that Wentworth Miller is playing Captain Cold, with The Live Feed confirming that Dominic Purcell will join him as Heat Wave.

Wentworth Miller's Leonard Snart/Captain Cold will make his debut in the show's fourth episode, with Dominic Purcell's Mick Rory/Heat Wave also set to be "heard from" in some fashion during this outing. Mick Rory is a pyromaniac whose obsession with fire leads him to become the villainous Heat Wave, and he will team up with Captain Cold in the flesh for the 10th episode.

Mick Rory made his DC Comics debut in 1963, but he didn't have any super powers, instead relying on his flamethrower weapon. The character was rebooted in DC's New 52 initiative as a "pyrokinetic," but it isn't known which version of the character will be featured in the series. Both Heatwave and Captain Cold are members of the villainous group known as the Rogues, along with two other characters confirmed to appear in Season 1, Girder (Greg Finley) and The Weather Wizard.

Dominic Purcell joins a growing number of guest stars/villains in the new series, including Clancy Brown (General Wade Elling), Robbie Amell (Firestorm), Robert Knepper (The Clock King) and Kelly Frye (Plastique).

Dominic Purcell and Wentworth Miller played brothers Lincoln Burrows and Michael Scofield in Fox's Prison Break, which aired for four seasons between 2005 and 2009.
