The Flash has been on a brief hiatus since mid-February, but, with the show returning on March 17 with "Out of Time", The CW has released a new trailer that teases the next three episodes. The trailer gives us a sneak peek at three brand new villains who burst onto the scene in Central City, along with the return of two major enemies. This explosive footage almost makes up for the month-long hiatus that The Flash have had to endure.

The footage from "Out of Time" gives us a new look at the Weather Wizard (Liam McIntyre), while scenes from "Rouge Time" (March 24) shows that Captain Cold (Wentworth Miller) and Heat Wave (Dominic Purcell) have returned with Captain Cold's sister Lisa, a.k.a. Golden Glider (Peyton List). Lastly, the scenes from "Tricksters" (March 31) shows Mark Hamill reprising his role as the Trickster from the original 1990 The Flash series. The trailer also teases that in "Out of Time", Barry (Grant Gustin) will travel back in time to find his mother's killer, Reverse Flash, a.k.a. Harrison Wells (Tom Cavanagh).

Mark Mardon aka The Weather Wizard (guest star Liam McIntyre) appears in Central City intent on avenging his brother Clyde's death, and sets his sights on Joe, who shot Clyde. When Mardon attacks Joe and Barry, Barry is able to super-speed them to safety but Mardon gets away. Barry warns Joe not to go after a meta-human alone but Joe doesn't listen and ends up in grave danger. Meanwhile, Cisco looks into the night the team captured the Reverse Flash and realizes something doesn't add up and begins to wonder whether Joe was right about Dr. Wells. Barry and Linda (guest star Malese Jow) end up on an awkward double date with Eddie and Iris. Take a look at the new footage below before The Flash returns next Tuesday night on The CW.
