Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) squares off with new villain Harley Rathaway, a.k.a. The Pied Piper (guest star Andy Mientus), in a clip from tomorrow night's episode of The Flash, "The Sound and the Fury", airing Tuesday, January 27 at 8 PM ET on The CW. As you can see in this scene below, not only does Rathaway have the ability to control sound waves, but he also knows the big secret being harbored by Harrison Wells (Tom Cavanagh), who we learned in the midseason finale, "The Man in the Yellow Suit", is the Reverse Flash.

Dr. Wells' former protégée, Hartley Rathaway, returns to seek revenge on his mentor after being affected by the particle accelerator explosion. Now able to manipulate sound waves, the brilliant Rathaway is a dangerous threat to both Wells and The Flash. Meanwhile, Iris is thrilled when she's hired by the Central City Picture News as their newest cub reporter. Unfortunately, her editor (guest star Tom Butler) pairs her with a veteran reporter, Mason Bridge (guest star Roger Howarth), who wants nothing to do with her. Cisco recalls his first day on the job at S.T.A.R. Labs when he met Hartley and Caitlin. Joe asks Eddie for a favor but asks him to keep it a secret from Barry.

It's worth noting that, in the comic books, Carlos Valdes' character Cisco Ramon eventually becomes the hero known as Vibe, who has a similar ability to manipulate and control sound waves like the Pied Piper. Could this episode be the start of Cisco's transformation into Vibe? That hasn't been confirmed yet, but take a look at this scene before "The Sound and the Fury" debuts tomorrow night on The CW.
