It seems that a popular HBO series might not see another season. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Flight of the Conchords might not continue for a third season.

"It very likely might not return for a third season," series star Jermaine Clement said. "It could come back in a shorter season or like a special," he added.

Clement revealed that he would be discussing the future of the series with co-star Bret McKenzie and director James Bobin, but it was said that the series might not live on because it requires too much work.

"We've got to write the series, but we've also got to write the songs, and just dividing your time into those two writing tasks is really tricky," he said.

It was also said that a decision on the fate of the series would be made by the end of the month.
