The first photo has been released from director Lee Daniels' The Butler, featuring Oscar-winning actor Forest Whitaker. This drama is based on the true story of Eugene Allen (Forest Whitaker), who was the White House butler from 1952 through 1986, where he served eight different Presidents. Lee Daniels is directing from a screenplay he co-wrote with Danny Strong, based on Will Haygood's article about the butler in The Washington Post. Oprah Winfrey, David Oyelowo, Liam Neeson, John Cusack, Jane Fonda, Alan Rickman, Minka Kelly, Cuba Gooding Jr., and Terrence Howard also star. Production will begin later this month in New Orleans.
