Following the latest clip that debuted earlier today, an extended trailer for Elysium has arrived with new footage. We get a better understanding of how desperate Matt Damon's Max De Costa is to get to the elite space colony Elysium, where the select few live in the lap of luxury while everyone else on Earth suffers in poverty. We also get more scenes with District 9 star Sharlto Copley as the vicious Kruger in director Neill Blomkamp's sci-fi thriller, hitting theaters nationwide August 9.
