Fox Filmed Entertainment is going to the ladies - at least for its first film. The new, younger division of Fox has bought Mindy Kaling's yet-untitled sorority pitch for a reported six figures.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the film is described as a female version of Revenge of the Nerds and Animal House.

Lawrence Grey and Jeff Arkuss will oversee the project for the new division, which was created in December under the leadership of Fox Searchlight president Peter Rice. At the time of the label's formation, a company source said projects likely would fall in the $20 million-$40 million range.
