Fox has picked up the new British game show, The Rich List.

The network has ordered six episodes of the question and answer game; Variety says Eamonn Holmes, former presenter for Blighty's GMTV, will serve as host. Fox reality head, Mike Darnell said The Rich List is played like a sort-of reverse Name That Tune, with rival teams, made up of complete strangers, asked to place bids on how many items they can fill in on a list. Whichever teams bids highest gets a chance to complete the list. Categories will be a mix of pop culture (e.g., Kelly Clarkson songs) and book smarts (e.g., states that border Canada).

The winner from each episode will have the chance to win up to $250,000 on the show. The Rich List could be on the air before the end of the year.
