Fox has given the green light to its first comedy pilot of the season, the half-hour multi-camera I Hate My Teenage Daughter, reports Variety.

The story is about two women who were tormented by mean girls when they were younger, and are now appalled to realize their daughters are turning into the same type of girls they never liked. Sherry Bilsing-Graham and Ellen Kreamer are exec producers.

Warner Bros. TV is behind the project. Fox has already picked up the drama pilots Alcatraz and Locke & Key.
