Fox is serving up 13 episodes of the animated comedy series Bob's Burgers from Home Movies co-creator Loren Bouchard.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the project from 20th Century Fox TV, is set at a seaside East Coast town and centers on Bob, a creative grill man who runs a struggling burger joint with the help of his tightly wound wife and their three unhelpful kids.

Although Bob's Burgers will have a similar look and tone to the rest of the comedies from Fox's Sunday animated block, it will be "a little more urban," said Bouchard, who spent several years working in bars and restaurants during his 20s.

The series pickup for "Burgers" is based on a 12-minute presentation whose voice cast included Bouchard's frequent collaborator H. Jon Benjamin as Bob, John Roberts as wife Linda and Kristen Schaal, Eugene Mirman and Dan Mintz as the kids.

Although the five actors have not closed deals to continue on the series, Bouchard said it's his "dying wish to get them back."

Production on Bob's Burgers is slated to begin shortly for an early 2011 premiere.
