Fox has set Barbara Wallace and Thomas R. Wolfe to script a pilot that is a U.S. take on British comedy Outnumbered, according to Variety.

Outnumbered is being produced out of the traditional pilot cycle, in order to avoid the crunch of pilot season and have an easier time finding talent.

Outnumbered centers on two parents who are overwhelmed by their three kids.
