Earlier this week we spoke to actor Daryl Sabara who shared some details on his character for an upcoming film and now we know when it will be released. Variety is reporting that Fox has set a September 3 release date for Machete.

The film is a feature-length incarnation of the fake trailer shown between films during Grindhouse. Robert Rodriguez and Ethan Maniquis wrote the script, both of whom are directing the film. The story revolves around Danny Trejo's title character who is double-crossed and seeking revenge.
