Fox is bringing some abandonment to network TV. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the network has inked a first-look deal for the independently-produced pilot, Living With Abandon.

The series revolves around a group of people who meet at an abandonment support group and must figure out how to survive as a group when their counselor commmits suicide.

Richie Keen and Heath Corson wrote the pilot and Keen directed. The pilot stars Todd Grinnell, Ed Quinn, Melissa Peterman, Rachel Specter and 14-year-old Nick Dodani.

"This is a show about the family that we all chose in life," Keen said. "This is a group of people who wouldn't normally know each other but chose to be each other's family."

No production schedule was announced.
