According to The Hollywood Reporter, Sideways and Elektra, both released April 5th from 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment, were the top-selling DVDs for the week ending Sunday, according to Nielsen VideoScan's First Alert DVD sales chart.

Industry insiders said that Sideways is closing in on sales of 2 million units, while Elektra has sold nearly 1.7 million. Taking third place on the First Alert chart was Spanglish from Sony Pictures Home Entertainment. The two Fox titles, though, were outdone by the Sony movie at the rental counter.
