Fox is getting prepared for Halloween a little early this year.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, on September 5 the studio is going to be releasing six classic horror titles that have never seen the DVD light of day before. Some of these movies are Night Train to Paris, Frankenstein Unbound, House of the Damned and The Other.

"Horror is a terrific genre, and Halloween is perfect timing," said Steve Feldstein 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment Senior Vice President. "Anything seasonal to rally around makes a lot of sense at retail."

The National Retail Federation survey reported that last year Halloween spending rose 5.4% to $3.1 billion.
