Fox Television Studios is entering the world of graphic novels, signing a development deal with Spacedog to create three projects slated for publication that will simultaneously be developed into television projects and content for digital media platforms.

The Hollywood Reporter that as part of the deal, Spacedog, a Los Angeles-based branded entertainment and interactive marketing agency, will co-develop and produce three projects slated to be published as graphic novels through Top Cow Comics, known for its Tomb Raider and Witchblade franchises. At the same time, the stories are being developed as live-action TV projects that will be shopped to broadcast and cable networks, said David Madden, executive vp scripted programming at Fox TV Studios.
