Earlier today we reported that a shiny new Ferrari will be the latest Autobot in Transformers 3 and now we have word on who some of the newest cast members will be. Deadline New York is reporting that Frances McDormand, John Malkovich and Ken Jeong have joined the cast of Michael Bay's Transformers 3.

McDormand will play the key role of National Intelligence Director while Malkovich will play the first boss of Shia LaBeouf's Sam Witwicky character. It wasn't clear what role Jeong will have in the film.

The trio of actors join Shia LaBeouf, Megan Fox, Josh Duhamel and Tyrese Gibson in the film, who are reprising their characters from the first two films. Michael Bay is directing from a script by Ehren Kruger and the film has already set a July 1, 2011 release date.
