Limp Bizkit rocker Fred Durst will make his feature film directorial debut on the independent movie The Education of Charlie Banks. The cameras will start rolling June 12 in Providence, Rhode Island.

According to Variety, Jesse Eisenberg, who starred in Noah Baumbach's award-winning indie The Squid and the Whale, is set to play the title role; Jason Ritter and Chris Marquette round out the cast. The plot revolves around a Vassar College student who gets an unannounced visit from the scariest kid from his old New York neighborhood.

Iridium Entertainment has raised $10 million in private equity to finance the film. Fred Durst is the front man for the rock-rap band Limp Bizkit. Although The Education of Charlie Banks is his first feature debut, he has directed many of the band's music videos.
