Freddie Highmore has just signed on to voice the lead character in the upcoming animated feature A Fox's Tale. According to Variety, Bill Nighy, Miranda Richardson, and Sienna Miller will also be lending their vocal talents to the film.

George Gat will be directing a screenplay he co-wrote with scribe Peter Doka. The film revolves around a young Fox named Little Jack, to be voiced by Highmore. The Fox enjoys a blissful life in the woods until his father is captured and forced to work in a circus. Little Jack teams up with a young boy, and together they devise a plan to save the father. Mike Moran will be composing an all-new set of songs for the film.

A Fox's Tale is currently in the early stages of pre-production.
