Freddie Highmore is set for a new coming-of-age tale for his new project. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Highmore has signed on for the lead in The Beautiful Miscellaneous. The film will be based off the novel of the same name by Dominic Smith.
The story centers on a 17-year-old boy (Highmore) who awakes from a coma with an astounding memory and a condition called "synesthesia," in which words, shapes or numbers become colors, smells or flavors. His father then sends him to a special clinic for savants to find new uses for his gifts.
