Known for his award-winning commercials, Fredrick Bond has picked up his first directorial feature with Year 12, which will be produced by Joe Roth. The project was originally set up through Paramount Pictures. According to The Wrap, they have put Year 12 in turn around, but it is expected to find a new home shortly.

The script, which was written by Edward Ricourt, takes place in Manhattan twelve years after aliens have invaded earth. The main plot focuses on an underwater uranium miner who is recruited to smuggle uranium in his bloodstream so that the resistance can use it to blow up the aliens' mothership.

No production date has been set for Year 12 at this time.
