Tom Holland's vampire movie Fright Night might be a beloved cult classic, but finding it on Blu-ray can prove to be difficult. In the United States, the movie had a limited release on the format from Twilight Time, only to very quickly sell out. Although it's since been released in the UK, Fright Night still hasn't had another proper Blu-ray release in the US. Fortunately, that's finally changing, as Sony is going to reissue the movie on Blu-ray very soon. Better yet, the fully-loaded set is going to come with a particularly awesome bonus feature, as the extensive documentary You're So Cool, Brewster! will be included on the disc in its entirety.

Released in 2016, the documentary is produced by Fright Night writer/director Tom Holland and features many of the cast and crew members from the movie. Using prosthetic makeup to look like late actor Roddy McDowall, Simon Bamford portrays the role of Peter Vincent to serve as the movie's host. The 3.5 hour documentary fully explores the making of the cult classic movie and the everlasting effect it has made on pop culture. With plenty of exclusive behind-the-scenes stories along with never-before-seen footage, it goes without saying that the doc is a must-see for any big fan of Fright Night. Including this movie alone more than makes the new Blu-ray release an excellent purchase.

If you're late to the party and haven't even seen Fright Night, now is as good a time as any to check out what you've been missing. To this day, the horror classic remains one of the most popular vampire movies ever made. It stars William Ragsdale as teenager Charley Brewster, who's big into horror movies like his best pal Evil Ed (Stephen Geoffreys). When Jerry Dandridge (Chris Sarandon) moves in next door, Charley discovers him to be a vampire when he sees the older man preying on a woman. Because nobody else believes him, Charley's only hope to defeat the vampire is to enlist the help of washed-up actor Peter Vincent (Roddy McDowall), who played a vampire hunter on television.

In addition to the You're So Cool, Brewster! the Story of Fright Night doc, the new Fright Night Blu-ray will come with tons of other special features as well. This includes a director's commentary with Tom Holland joined by actors Chris Sarandon and Jonathan Stark, and another with Holland, actors William Ragsdale and Stephen Geoffreys, and special effects artist Randall Cook. You can also check out multiple featurettes and take a look at some of the behind-the-scenes footage of the movie. Having Fright Night in your Blu-ray collection may have already been something that needed to happen if you're a retro horror fan, but that it comes with so many cool features only seals the deal.

Sony's Fright Night Blu-ray will be going on sale on Feb. 12. Just in case these end up selling very quickly as well, you may want to purchase your copy as soon as it goes on sale. With the full You're So Cool, Brewster! doc included, you're basically getting two feature-length movies for the price of one. This information comes to us from Broke Horror Fan.
