Disney has released the full "Into the Unknown" sequence from Frozen 2. The original song is performed in the movie by Idina Menzel (voice of Elsa). The song features Aurora and was written by Academy Award winners Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez. Disney released the sequel at the end of November and it has already broken box office records, including the best Thanksgiving holiday weekend earnings with $123.7 million domestically. If that wasn't enough, the sequel has already earned $745.2 million globally.

The "Into the Unknown" sequence features Elsa waking up to the call of a distant siren that's been beckoning her with some familiar notes. She gets up to follow the voice through song and it's one of the most-talked about moments of Frozen 2. Thankfully, Disney has put the song online for fans to relieve the experience and for potential fans who may have been on the fence about visiting theaters to see the highly acclaimed musical sequel.

Frozen 2 tackles some interesting questions. Why was Elsa born with magical powers? What truths about the past await Elsa as she ventures into the unknown to the enchanted forests and dark seas beyond Arendelle? The answers are calling her but also threatening her kingdom. Together with Anna, Kristoff, Olaf and Sven, she'll face a dangerous but remarkable journey. In Frozen, Elsa feared her powers were too much for the world. In Frozen 2, she must hope they are enough. From the Academy Award winning team-directors Jennifer Lee and Chris Buck, producer Peter Del Vecho and songwriters Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez.

The Frozen 2 voice cast includes Kristen Bell, Idina Menzel, Josh Gad, Jonathan Groff, Sterling K. Brown, Evan Rachel Wood, Alfred Molina, Martha Plimpton, Jason Ritter, and Rachel Matthews. In addition to the box office success of the sequel, the soundtrack has been climbing the charts, thanks in part to the strength of songs like "Into the Unknown." Disney knew they were going to have a hit on their hands, but it seems that the sequel has been doing better than a lot of people were thinking before the movie hit theaters. The success paves the way for Disney to go out on a high note with The Rise of Skywalker hitting theaters at the end of the month.

Frozen 2 opened in theaters on November 22nd, where it made over $130.2 million domestically. It's the highest-grossing debut in history for any animated movie globally. The sequel also marks a highpoint for a non-summer release for animated movies. The first installment remained in the top 10 at the box office for 17 weeks and went on to gross $1.27 billion globally, which means the sequel still has a ways to go before it gets to those numbers. With that being said, it's has a pretty healthy head start. You can check out the "Into the Unknown" sequence above, thanks to the Disney Music Vevo YouTube channel.
