Following the first photos released yesterday, Walt Disney Animation Studios has released a sneak peek at Frozen Fever. This new animated short brings back the beloved characters Anna (Kristen Bell), Elsa (Idina Menzel), Kristoff (Jonathan Groff) and Olaf (Josh Gad) from the blockbuster hit Frozen. It will be debut in front of Disney's live-action Cinderella, which arrives in theaters March 13.

Directors Chris Buck and Jennifer Lee explain that Frozen Fever takes place just a few months after the events of Frozen. In the short, it's Anna's birthday and Elsa and Kristoff are determined to give her the best celebration ever, but when Elsa catches a cold, her powers may put more than just the party at risk. Produced by Peter Del Vecho and Aimee Scribner, with an all-new original song by Robert Lopez and Kristen Anderson-Lopez, Frozen Fever marks the first project reuniting the Oscar-winning original team from the first movie.

Take a look a look at this special preview, and, in case you missed them yesterday, you can also check out the first photos from this animated short below. There have been recent reports of a theatrical sequel to Frozen, but Disney has shot down those rumors. So, for now, it seems that Frozen Fever is the closest thing fans will get to a follow-up. Stay tuned for more updates on Frozen Fever and a potential Frozen sequel.
