While we await the first trailer and premiere date for Netflix's Fuller House reunion series, EW caught up with the star of this impending sitcom, Candace Cameron Bure, who revealed some new intel concerning D.J. Tanner's love life. We know that Scott Weigner is returning to play Steve. And ever since that was announced, fans have wanted to know if Steve and D.J. will rekindle their romance.

It sounds like that's a possibility. We don't yet know too many plot details about Fuller House, which will reunite most of the Full House cast for a new half-hour comedy. D.J. is the lead character this time out. Now a widow, she moves back to San Francisco with her two children. There, she decides to become roommates with her estranged sister Stephanie, once again played by Jodie Sweetin, and her best friend Kimmy Gibbler, a role being resumed by Andrea Barber. But what this trio gets up to is anyone's guess.

Though, it looks like D.J. is ready to find herself a man. And she may be returning to the long lost love of her childhood sweetheart, Steve. Will the pair finally get together after all these years? Here's what Candace Cameron Bure had to say about the possibilities.

"Steve makes a few appearances on the show. I can't say in what capacity. I'm sure they talk about old love, and listen, D.J. is widowed and it's been a while since her husband passed away. She's thinking about dating. I'm not sure if she'll find new love. Maybe, maybe not. Gotta watch!"

Making a comeback on the show will be John Stamos as Uncle Jesse, Dave Coulier as Cousin Joey, Bob Saget as Danny Tanner and Lori Loughlin as Aunt Becky. In the video released by EW, Candace Cameron Bure thinks you'll be most surprised by one character in particular, though. Here's what she had to say about the return of the Gibbleburger.

"I think all of the characters of Fuller House are going to be where you'd hope they would be if you were a big fan of the show.I think everyone knows what kind of adult they would turn out to be. I think we stay true to that. I think the one you will be surprised by most, because she is so historically funny, is going to be Andrea Barber. Which is Kimmy Gibbler. I don't think fans will know in what ways she is still quirky. You just got to watch it. She's so great.

One character that won't be making a return is Michelle Tanner, played by twins Mary-Kate Olsen and Ashley Olsen. Last month, star Lori Loughlin confirmed that the pair aren't appearing in this first season, and aren't likely to appear in future seasons if Netflix renews the show, which is sounding likely. All episodes of Fuller House have already taped in front of a live studio audience. And the half hour comedy will debut sometime in 2016 on the streaming service.
