Vin Diesel and several other cast members take us back to the origins of the Fast and Furious franchise in one of three new featurettes for Furious 7. What you may not remember is the original 2001 action-thriller The Fast and the Furious is actually based on a 1998 Vibe magazine article entitled Racer X (CLICK HERE to read the full article) that focused on the New York street racing scene. From those humble roots, a blockbuster franchise was born.

The second featurette showcases one of the most exotic cars in the entire franchise, the Lykan Hypersport, a car that sells for $3.4 million, since only seven of them were ever made. This is the same car that is shown in the trailers and TV spots, when Vin Diesel's Dom literally jumps from building to building behind the wheel. Car supervisor Dennis McCarthy reveals that this car is the most expensive ever used in the entire franchise. The third featurette takes us behind-the-scenes with director James Wan on the Abu Dhabi set, which is a much different location than we've seen in the franchise thus far.

In addition to these featurettes, we also have a new TV spot from this highly-anticipated action-thriller, which also stars Dwayne Johnson, Jason Statham, Michelle Rodriguez, Paul Walker, Tyrese Gibson, Ludacris, Kurt Russell, Jordana Brewster, Lucas Black, Djimon Hounsou and Tony Jaa. Are you ready ride with Dom and his crew once again at the box office next weekend? Take a look at the videos and chime in with your thoughts below.
