The plot takes place in April 1945, just before the end of World War II, following a five-man Sherman tank crew who find themselves on a mission behind enemy lines. The filmmaker introduces fans to the five main characters, Don "Wardaddy" Collier (Brad Pitt), Boyd "Bible" Swan (Shia LaBeouf), Grady "Coon-Ass" Travis (Jon Bernthal), Trini "Gordo" Garcia (Michael Peña) and the newest member of their team, Norman Ellison (Logan Lerman), describing what makes each of them unique. Fury is set at the very end of World War II, in April 1945.
