According to Variety, FX has inked a deal with Summit Entertainment for the basic cable rights to Twilight and The Twilight Saga: New Moon.

New Moon grabbed $142.8 million at the U.S. box office last weekend.

FX also inked deals for The Twilight Saga: Eclipse and The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn.

FX and Summit's deal is standard. The price-tag will be 10%-12% of the domestic box office take, however there is a cap.

FX is allowed to begin airing Twilight in late 2011. New Moon can start airing in late 2012 and Eclipse (which will come to theaters in June 30, 2010) is going to have its basic cable debut in 2013.
