We are already expecting to see many major players from the Fast & Furious franchise returning for Fast X, the tenth and penultimate installment of the popular movie series, and it would seem that Gal Gadot can be added to the list. Previously, Gadot first hit the scene in the U.S. with her notable role as Gisele Yashar in Fast & Furious, the franchise's fourth film. She'd return to the role for the sequels Fast Five and Fast & Furious 6, and while she did appear in a scene for Furious 7, the footage wound up getting deleted. Gadot hasn't been seen in the franchise since.

Now, however, The Direct reports that Gadot is making her return to the role of Gisele. She's reportedly been added to the cast of Fast X, which is now in production. She'll be in good company, as the casting will mark multiple reunions for Gadot. In addition to reuning with her Fast & Furious family, she'll also be sharing the screen once again with Justice League co-star Jason Momoa, who will play a villain in Fast X.

While Gisele seemingly perished in Fast & Furious 6, sacrificing herself to save Sung Kang's Han, it's not impossible for her to be brought back. After all, Han himself had also been seemingly killed in an explosion in The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift, but Kang reprised the role for a surprise return in F9. So it wouldn't be too much of a stretch to bring Gisele back from the dead as well, though it's also possible that her reported inclusion is for a flashback scene.

We do know that Gadot's schedule is opening up after one big project she had planned will no longer move forward. She was intending to come back for another feature film as Wonder Woman with director Patty Jenkins, but amid many changes at DC Studios, that sequel has been squashed. It remains unclear if Gadot will return as Wonder Woman in any other DCU-set projects, but her third solo movie is apparently not happening, at least for now.

Meanwhile, Gadot will be starring in an upcoming spy action thriller at Netflix. Dubbed Heart of Stone, the film is directed by Tom Harper and also stars Jamie Dornan and Sophie Okonedo. Gadot is also set to appear in the upcoming live-action Snow White movie that's in the works at Disney. She will take on the role of the Evil Queen opposite Rachel Zegler as the titular Disney Princess. That film will release on March 22, 2024, while Heart of Stone will drop on Netflix sometime in 2023.
