HBO’s fantasy outing Game of Thrones was not just typical political lore in the fictional continent of Westeros, but rather an entry into television history that redefined the craft of mythological storytelling. Consequently, each new season of Game of Thrones became synonymous with a global event, more than just an entertainment experience for the critics and audiences. Of course, as all good must come to an end, the unimaginable dawned on the much-loved show, and Game of Thrones fell from its grace as the events of a controversial final season unfolded.

Indeed, the final season of Game of Thrones served one of the most unexpected and disappointing finales of all times in the history of television. Bran the Broken convened the Seven Kingdoms and sat on the infamous Iron Throne, Daenerys Targaryen met a tragic character end, and the remaining pack of House Stark survived the bloody dance of death. The concluding affairs of Game of Thrones trailed another adventure for each character, and so it did for the actors who played them. Here is a rundown of what the cast of House Stark has been up to since Game of Thrones ended.

Sophie Turner

HBO

Of the pack that survived the literal bloodbath in Game of Thrones, there is no denying that Sophie Turner’s Sansa Stark received profound character development. From the early seasons’ gullible Sansa to Queen in the North, the audience witnessed unseen shades of this Stark. Like her character, exhibiting her shades of acting, Turner has played various characters over the years. She was seen playing herself in Jonas Brothers Family Roast and notably joined the X-Men franchise as a young Jean Grey. Most recently, she was seen in Do Revenge, and, per Stylist, has joined the cast of Come As You Are, a thriller that will explore the dark side of social media.

Kit Harrington

Jon Snow from Westeros might know nothing, but the actor playing him, Kit Harrington, surely knows many things and has definitely got his acting game straight. After wrapping up Game of Thrones, the actor ventured into the MCU, in Eternals, as Black Knight/Dane Whitman. If rumors are to be believed, Harington will further reprise the same role in the upcoming Blade, which is scheduled to release in 2023. What’s more, per Variety, he has joined the cast of Blood of Dust alongside Josh Lucas and Scoot McNairy. Also, for the fans of Game of Thrones, Jon Snow’s character has received a spin-off that is set to unravel Jon's life after the conclusion of the original Game of Thrones.

Aside from cementing his position as the King of the Seven Kingdoms, Isaac Hempstead Wright has added quite a few credits to his acting resume. He played the character of Edward in the sci-fi thriller Voyager helmed by Neil Burger. The flick tells the tale of the colonization of other planets to save the human race. Wright also appeared alongside his co-stars in the Game of Thrones reunion hosted by Conan O’Brien. Further, Game of Thrones: The Last Watch chronicling the behind-the-scenes of the show also features the actor as himself.

Maisie Williams

Maisie Williams' Arya Stark, throughout Game of Thrones, went on one of the wildest character arcs and achieved many great things, from plunging a knife into The Night King to executing various, clean assassinations. After the series ended, Williams continued to push herself, starring in the Disney+ series Pistol and the X-Men film The New Mutants. Next, the actor will also be seen as the titular character of a non-fictional crime novel adaptation, Joyce McKinney and the Case of the Manacled Mormon. The flick, also featuring Freddie Highmore, is titled Sinner V. Saints and helmed by Fleabag’s Tim Kirby.

Richard Madden

The harrowing Red Wedding might have served as the end to Richard Madden's time on Game of Thrones, but the actor's career has soared since. First off, he reunited with his co-star Kit Harrington in Eternals, portraying Ikaris opposite Gemma Chan, Angelina Jolie, and more. While the details are hazy about his return in Eternals 2, fans of Madden will definitely see him slipping into the skin of Citadel agent Mason Kane, alongside Priyanka Chopra, in the upcoming Amazon Prime sci-fi drama series Citadel.

Michelle Fairley

Catelyn’s dreams of reigning the Seven Kingdoms of Westeros alongside Eddard might not have materialized, but Michelle Fairley’s Princess Augusta will definitely rekindle her life around the throne. In a yet-to-be-named spinoff of Bridgerton, per Town and Country, Fairley will be seen portraying the mother of Queen Charlotte of Great Britain. The show is currently in the post-production stage and has no release date as yet. As of now, Michelle is playing the character of Marian Wallace in the British action-crime series Gangs of London.

Sean Bean

Game of Thrones fans might agree that Eddard's arc was undeniably bent out of shape. From cementing his place as a leading protagonist in the first season to meeting the tragic end of getting his head spiked by the end of, the character’s arc took an arguably steep turn. Nonetheless, Sean Bean has made sure to not take this event to his heart and was recently seen playing the character of Ian in the British four-part miniseries Marriage, helmed by Him & Her’s Stefan Golaszewski. Of course, that is not it; per Collider, he will be joining Mackenyu in the live-action adaptation of Knights of the Zodiac as Alman Kiddo.
