After getting a behind-the-scenes look at Season 5 of Game of Thrones in the new trailer for the upcoming special A Day in the Life, new footage from the upcoming season has arrived in a trailer for the special IMAX screenings that start on January 29. While most of this 30-second trailer features footage from the last two episodes of Season 4, we do get a brief glimpse at the Season 5 trailer that will debut during these screenings, featuring Peter Dinklage's Tyrion Lanister. The screenings will run from January 29 to February 5, but it isn't known if HBO will debut the full trailer online at some point during that week.

It's also possible that HBO may release this highly-anticipated trailer during the half-hour special "A Day in the Life," which will give fans behind-the-scenes access to three different sets in different countries during just one day of production. At any rate, our first full look at Game of Thrones Season 5 should be coming in the very near future, with the Season 5 premiere slated to debut on Sunday, April 12 at 9 PM ET on HBO.

For those who plan on attending the IMAX screenings you can also check out two posters that will be given away to the first 300 fans in attendance at each theater, and, in case you haven't done so already, you can visit IMAX.com/GameOfThrones to purchase tickets for this special event. Game of Thrones will be the first TV series ever to be presented in the IMAX format, so be sure to pick up your tickets before it's too late. In the meantime, check out the brief glimpse of new Season 5 footage below.
