With just under one month left until the Season 5 premiere of HBO's Game of Thrones, the network has released two new clips, one of which reveals why the episode is entitled "The Wars to Come". The first scene features Tyrion Lannister (Peter Dinklage), who escaped from Westeros at the end of Season 4, conversing with the man who helped him get out of King's Landing, Lord Varys (Conleth Hill). Since Varys is not related to the Lannisters in any way, Tyrion asks him why he arranged the escape. Varys reveals that he did what he did for the good of the realm, and that a man of Tyrion's talents will be needed in "the wars to come."

The second clip takes us north of the Wall, with Jon Snow (Kit Harington) talking to Mance Rayder (Ciarán Hinds) about pride. This clip also references that Stannis Baratheon (Stephen Dillane) and his army are on their way to conquer the lands north of the Wall, with only Mance and his united wildling tribes standing in his way. While we don't see them in these clips, "The Wars to Come" also follows Cersei (Lena Headey) and Jaime (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) as they adjust to a world without Tywin (Charles Dance) and Dany (Emilia Clarke) facing a new threat to her rule.

In addition, we also have new photos which give us our first look at Nell Tiger Free as Cersei's daughter Myrcella Baratheon and Toby Sebastian as her husband-to-be Trystane Martell of Dorne, nephew of the late Oberyn Martell (Pedro Pascal). Myrcella was sent to Dorne way back in Season 2, but she will play a key role in Season 5, which will showcase Dorne for the first time. Nell Tiger Free replaces Aimee Richardson, who played Myrcella in the first two seasons. Take a look at the new clips and photos to prepare yourself for Game of Thrones' return on Sunday, April 12 at 9 PM ET on HBO.
