Following the first full trailer released in January, HBO has debuted another trailer for Season 5 of Game of Thrones, debuting Sunday, April 12 at 9 PMM ET on the cable network. This trailer features plenty of new footage, including Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke) teasing her plans to destroy all of the other families in Westeros, while Tyrion Lannister (Peter Dinklage) watches in awe as a dragon flies above him. We also see Stannis Baratheon (Stephen Dillane) as he plans to "take the North," while Jon Snow (Kit Harington) wants to find a way to live with the wildlings.

This trailer also gives us a look at one of the several new characters popping up in Season 5, Jonathan Pryce's High Sparrow. Others who will be introduced this season include Alexander Siddig (Doran Martell), Toby Sebastian (Trystane Martell), Nell Tiger Free (Myrcella Baratheon), Deobia Oparei (Areo Hotah), Enzo Cilenti (Yezzan) and Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje (Malko), a character who doesn't originate in George R.R. Martin's novels.

Summers span decades. Winters can last a lifetime. And the struggle for the Iron Throne continues. It stretches from the south, where heat breeds plots, lusts and intrigues, to the vast and savage eastern lands, where a young queen raises an army. All the while, in the frozen north, an 800-foot wall of ice precariously protects the war-ravaged kingdom from the dark forces that lie beyond. Kings and queens, knights and renegades, liars, lords and honest men...all play the Game of Thrones. An original series based on George R.R. Martin's best-selling 'A Song of Ice and Fire' series, Game of Thrones returns to HBO on April 12 at 9 PM. Take a look at the latest footage below.
