Back in September, it was revealed that Game of Thrones star Isaac Hempstead-Wright will not be back as Bran Stark in Season 5, because his character's story line is already caught up to the last book George R.R. Martin published. The actor hinted a few days later that he may come back after all, but now in a new interview with The Huffington Post, he sets the record straight, confirming he won't be seen in Season 5, but he will return in Season 6.

"I have had a break this season. Bran will be back in Season 6. It's been bizarre (to have the year off), more so because I've spent my first full term at school, which has been quite a shock. I usually have my entire summer eaten up by shooting. But it's been nice to have this year free because I've had some important exams at school."

Of course, by the time we get to Season 6 next year, fans of both the books and series alike could be entering uncharted territory, since a representative for George R.R. Martin recently revealed that there are no plans to publish the author's long-awaited sixth book in his A Song of Fire and Ice novel series tis year. If that is the case, the show will likely end before the author finishes both the sixth and seventh novels. Bran's compatriots Hodor (Kristian Nairn) and Meera (Ellie Kendrick) will also be sitting Season 5 out. Are you looking forward to seeing Bran continue his journey in Season 6?
