Last week, HBO released over 20 new photos from Season 6 of Game of Thrones, and on Friday, the Game of Thrones Twitter feed announced that the first full trailer will debut Sunday, February 14 at 8:59 PM ET, just before the series premiere of Vinyl. It seems the trailer has leaked online a bit early, and it teases some very intriguing developments. The brief trailer preview on Friday showed us the Hall of Faces at the House of Black and White, which is where this full trailer is set, giving us a glimpse into Westeros' past, so to speak. There will be potential SPOILERS if you aren't caught up with the show quite yet, so read on at your own risk.

The trailer features the faces of iconic and deceased characters such as Ned Stark (Sean Bean), Robb Stark (Richard Madden), Catelyn Stark (Michelle Fairley), Joffrey Baratheon (Jack Gleeson) and Jon Snow (Kit Harington), whose faces in this wall are accompanied by some of their memorable lines of dialogue. The trailer ends with quite a shocking surprise, featuring the face of a character who was still alive at the end of last season, Peter Dinklage's Tyrion Lannister. Could this be teasing that Tyrion doesn't survive by the time Game of Thrones Season 6 comes to an end?

Last season, Maisie Williams' Arya Stark journeyed across the sea to the House of Black and White, where she trained to be a "Faceless Man" under the tutelage of Jacquen H'gar (Tom Wlaschiha). Arya's training didn't go so well, though, and at the end of the season, Jacquen H'gar blinded the young girl. The photos released yesterday confirmed that Arya is still blind, although we don't know anything about how her story will unfold this season. The show's creators have been more secretive than usual in the lead-up to this season, and fans have been largely kept in the dark regarding plot details for this upcoming season.

One of the only things we do know about Game of Thrones Season 6 is that it will arrive before George R.R. Martin's new book The Winds of Winter. The author and his publishers haven't announced an exact date of publication yet, so we'll have to wait and see. Fans were left with several burning questions after Game of Thrones Season 5, most notably, the fate of Jon Snow (Kit Harington), which will surely be addressed when the show debuts. It's possible that the first trailer this weekend addresses Snow's fate, but we know for sure that he will have some sort of presence on the show this year.

Kit Harington himself teased in September that he's still under contract with the series, which confirmed a report from October 2014 that all of the major stars had renewed their contracts through Season 7. The actor was also spotted arriving at the Belfast airport in July, and he was spotted on the Ireland set shortly thereafter. Still, we don't know how extensive his involvement in this season is quite yet.

Some of the new characters debuting this season include Max von Sydow as the Three-Eyed Raven, Ian McShane in an unspecified role and Pilou Asbæk, who has been rumored to be playing Euron Greyjoy, the uncle of Alfie Allen's Theon Greyjoy. Richard E. Grant and Essie Davis are portraying members of a theater troupe who are putting on a play about famous figures in Westeros, with James Faulkner, Samantha Spiro and Rebecca Benson portraying the father, mother and sister of Samwell Tarly (John Bradley). Most recently, we reported that Spartacus: Vengeance star Joseph Naufahu has come aboard, rumored to be playing a Dothraki warrior. Take a look at this new trailer for the highly-anticipated season of Game of Thrones, and stay tuned for more updates.
