Following the Game of Thrones Season 7, Episode 5 preview that debuted a few days ago, HBO has released eight new photos from this highly-anticipated episode, entitled Eastwatch, airing Sunday, August 13 at 9 PM ET. Be warned, though, if you haven't yet seen Sunday night's epic episode, The Spoils of War, there will not be spoils, but SPOILERS below, so read on at your own risk. While the photos themselves do not exactly offer spoilers, the discussion spawned from them will include plenty of spoilers from The Spoils of War.

These new images come from HBO, which has also confirmed that the new episode Eastwatch will span 59 minutes long, nine full minutes longer than The Spoils of War. The first image showcases Tyrion Lannister (Peter Dinklage), who is seen walking among the charred ruins of the battlefield, where Daenerys Targaryen and her fire-breathing dragon named Drogon, laid waste to the Lannister army, along with Dany's horde of Dothraki soldiers. The episode ended on quite the pivotal moment, with Jaime Lannister (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) grabbing a spear and charging at Daenerys while her back was turned, as she tried to remove the huge arrow fired by Bronn (Jerome Flynn) that pierced Drogon. Just before Jaime got to Dany, she turned around, as Drogon breathed flames at him, but just before they hit, Bronn tackled Jaime into the water, as the episode ended.

Just before Jaime's attack, we saw Tyrion watching the battle from above, calling his brother an "idiot" for charging after Daenerys. The last shot of the episode was Bronn and Jaime rapidly sinking in the water, seemingly unconscious, leaving both of their fates up for debate until Eastwatch airs. As for this photo of Tyrion, it's possible that he could be on the battlefield to see if his brother is still alive, but it's tough to tell from this image alone. It's worth noting that, when Jaime was tackled into the water, he had his full armor on, plus that golden fake hand, all of which will certainly be dragging Jaime to the bottom of this lake. While it seems unlikely that a character like the Kingslayer would die by drowning, this show has also illustrated that practically anything is possible.

Another photo gives us a glimpse at Daenerys with Tyrion at her side, which is most likely from the scene showcased in the trailer for Eastwatch, where Dany is seen telling a group of soldiers that she is not here to murder anyone, but if they don't "bend the knee" and join her, they will die. There is also a photo of Lord Varys (Conleth Hill) speaking with Tyrion, which appears to be from another scene showcased in the trailer, where Varys stresses to Tyrion that "we need to find a way to make her listen," which most likely means they're trying to rein her in before she slaughters everyone in her path to King's Landing, which seems more likely now after her massive display of force in what has become known as the "loot train battle" from The Spoils of War."

The final photos offer a glimpse of Jon Snow meeting with Daenerys, and Jon doesn't seem pleased. In The Spoils of War, before she took off on Drogon, Jon Snow tried to convince Dany that if she attacked innocent people in King's Landing, she wouldn't be different, but would just be giving the people, "more of the same." Another photo teases that we'll be heading back to Oldtown in this episode, offering a glimpse of Samwell Tarly (John Bradley) and Gilly (Hannah Murray), both of whom are poring over a number of books. What they're looking for remains to be seen, but the final image showcases Queen Cersei Lannister (Lena Headey) sitting on her bed, looking out the window. It's possible this might be the same window her son King Tommen jumped to his death from in the Season 6 finale, but that has yet to be confirmed. Take a look at all of these new photos from the new Eastwatch episode of Game of Thrones, airing Sunday, August 13 at 9 PM ET on HBO.
