Garry Marshall has made a deal to direct the new film Georgia Rule for Morgan Creek Productions.

The cast includes Jane Fonda, Felicity Huffman and Lindsay Lohan; the story centers on a rebellious young woman (Lohan) who is sent by her dysfunctional mother (Huffman) to spend a summer with her grandmother (Fonda), says The Hollywood Reporter. Two male roles still to be cast.

Georgia Rule is written by Mark Andrus (As Good as It Gets); no production schedule is set as of yet.
