If you were disappointed that Garry Shandling's Senator Stern didn't show up in Iron Man 3, Marvel's got your back. The comedian will be reprising his role in Captain America: The Winter Soldier, as revealed in a couple of new photos from the set. He was spotted hugging S.H.I.E.L.D. Agent Sitwell (Maximiliano Hernández), whom we know is up to no good in this sequel, judging from the way Captain America (Chris Evans) and Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) treated him in /black-widow-fights-a-s-h-i-e-l-d-agent-in-captain-america-the-winter-soldier-set-photos/previous behind-the-scenes photos. We also have our first look at Captain America and The Falcon (Anthony Mackie) together, out of costume and in workout gear as part of a new Government training program. Is Stern behind it?

By request, these photos have been removed.

Garry Shandling first played Senator Stern in Iron Man 2, where he wanted Tony Stark to give his armor to the US government. No plot details have been released in regards to his character in Captain America: The Winter Soldier.

Be sure to check out all of our set photos from Captain America: The Winter Soldier as shooting continues this weekend.
