Gemma Arterton is in talks to star in the upcoming Relativity Media and Atlas Entertainment comedy, The Wright Girls.

The film, which is inspired by the Japanese comedy 2LDK, centers on two young actresses who live together, pretending to be best friends. They are also co-stars on a successful television show. In reality, they detest each other and go to extreme and violent lengths to do one another in while competing for the same movie role. The studio is still searching for its second female lead.

Andy Fickman is negotiating for the direct's seat, with Bert V. Royal writing the script.

The british actress has also stared in Clash of the Titans and Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time.

This project is still in development.
